Financial Options

We realize that most insurance plans do not cover the cost of a vasectomy reversal and that it is considered a cash procedure that is paid up front (similar to plastic cosmetic surgery). We recognize that the decision about vasectomy reversal can be stressful and overwhelming from a financial perspective.

To help you figure out the logistics of financing, independent medical financing companies exist that offer programs that can help make a vasectomy reversal a real possibility for you. We do not recommend any specific company, but we will be happy to discuss your financial options.

OUR GUARANTEE
Vasectomy reversal surgeons cannot guarantee success. When it comes to the human body, there are many factors that are outside the control of the surgeon. Even when the proper surgery is performed, your body must still heal the “pipes” (vas deferens) in a way to keep them open. Additionally, your testicles must realize that the pipes are open and that sperm production can “kick back in & come back up to speed.” Recognizing the unpredictability and variability of the human body, a state-of-the-art microsurgical vasectomy reversal can fail even in the most skilled hands. If your post-operative sperm count shows no sperm or a very low number of sperm, Dr. Kuang will have an honest and upfront discussion about the cause and all of your reproductive options including a second vasectomy reversal.

If you choose to repeat the vasectomy reversal, there will be NO surgeon’s fees for this procedure. It is our way of showing and assuring you that we are doing our very best to help you and your partner have the best surgical and reproductive outcome. The outpatient surgical center and anesthesia charges are unfortunately not determined by us and would still apply for the repeat surgery.
